Today I went grocery shopping and the store was offering a special that if you purchase a Marie Callendar frozen dinner you could get a package of drumsticks free. Free things are great, Free ice cream is greater. Of course, the drumsticks of yesteryear were better than they are now but they still bring joy to my taste buds.
The other day I was trying to explain to my friends at work the joy of vanilla ice cream floating in a glass of orange juice. The ice cream melts up thickens the orange juice and when eaten (drinken, drunk, drunken, drank?-whatever) it brings memories of the orange dreamsicles of my childhood. I loved those too.
What was your favorite ice cream from the Good Humor man? Rocketsicle, Chocolate Eclair (MY FAVE), every fruit-flavored popsicle you could imagine, Strawberry Shortcakes....

ReplyDeleteI loved the chocolate eclairs and strawberry shortcakes. I still love to get them and let them sit for a few minutes so the outer crust is somewhat soft. yummy.
